are amazing. I have been eating too many of them and still can’t get enough. I have no desire whatsoever for sweet pickles (what a way to ruin a pickle). Luckily, pastrami and cheese goes great with pickles which has been my meal lately. Since pickles are cucumbers I consider my self to be a very sleek eater.
What’s for lunch?

My daughter liked to eat pickles until the day she ate an entire jar of them by herself. After regurgitating an entire jar of pickles, she decided she didn’t like pickles anymore.

But you’re wrong. Lutfish, however, is deplorable.

My brother once drank a bottle of soy sauce. How the... does somebody drink a bottle of soy sauce? My daughter likes butter and used to sneak it out of the fridge and eat it alone. Kids!!

I once ate nearly an entire gallon jar of kimchi with a friend. Some vomiting ensued - but I’m not revolted off kimchi, luckily.

My brother-in-law ate a large wad of wasabi one time.

if you can find them, try pickled okra. I also like mild giardiniera.
now, sweet pickles on the other hand... fuck sweet pickles.

Concur: sweet pickles/bread and butter are wrong. Some of the best dills I’ve had were some homemade habenero dills - so great. I ate most of a huge jar of them over about a month.

That’s like chowing down on a horseradish or some really hot peppers. I enjoy wasabi with my sushi, jalapenos with my tex-mex, and cayenne on my cajun food, but I won’t be eating any of those without the accompanying food.

We had a problem with sugar all over the counter top. I assumed my wife was making a mess getting her morning coffee. She assumed I was making a mess getting my morning coffee.
We were both wrong. It was my son making a mess eating sugar a spoonful at a time. He wasn’t adding it to anything, just eating sugar.

When you’re enjoying a large plate of spicy Cajun food, some BnB pickles on the side are a nice change of pace.

Love dill pickles. Sweet are disgusting.
Have you ever tried the Archer Farms Bloody Mary pickles at Target? They're fantastic.

I mean, I get that playing off sweet’n’sour type tastes vs. spicy works - I do it with buffalo vs. sweet’n’sour for chicken nuggets - but something about BnB pickles just doesn’t connect for me. FWIW, I also strongly dislike vinegar base bean salads.

Granted, my great grandma canned her own so I really don’t know what mass-produced BnB pickles taste like. Also I’m probably rather biased due to the aforementioned fact. But give me some étouffée, a side of okra, a touch of pickles and cinnamon apples for dessert and I’m about the happiest camper you’ll ever meet :)

Vlasic Gherkins are the only Vlasic ones I like, the rest are crap. I can usually get some really nice garlic-y pickles at the grocery store near me.

wanna know whats amazing? Pickle Back shots. Yes, shot of Jamesons (or your favorite Irish/Scotch whisky) followed by a shot of pickle juice. You’ll thank me later if you hadn’t tried it yet.
